Fiber Interface I/O Module
Description
SEL expands the I/O of relays and communications processes without modification to the control panel face. Reduces copper in substations by transferring I/O from remote locations over fiber, and provides electrical isolation to avoid ground paths and induced noise interference. Implements teleprotection schemes using high-speed Mirrored Bits communications or IEEE C37.94.
